Lynnea Felton, NMD
Licensed Naturopathic Doctor
A native of Buffalo, NY, Dr. Felton received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Niagara University. While studying there, she conducted a thesis experiment on the effects of cervical cancer cells after treatment with Curcuma longa and light activated vitamin D, the herb that causes the yellow coloring of turmeric. This, however, was not where her journey to discover a more alternative way of treatment started.
After struggling through childhood with significant acid reflux, unexplained abdominal pain, anxiety, and chronic ear infections, her parents were inspired to seek out an alternative. This eventually lead the family to discover naturopathic medicine, and Dr. Felton’s favorite naturopathic principle of “Treat the Cause”. Removing the source of irritation that caused chronic inflammation leading to disease, which in her case was food related, lead to complete resolution of symptoms.
Dr. Felton graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, AZ and also completed a general medicine residency at the SCNM Medical Center. She enjoyed teaching clinical students on how to incorporate the naturopathic principles to treat every patient and provide treatment plans that easily integrate into patient’s lifestyles.

Mike Gonzales, NMD
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Gonzales always had a deep appreciation for health and wellness. His journey led him to Arizona, where he pursued a doctorate in naturopathic medicine at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. After becoming a licensed naturopathic doctor, he realized that his true passion wasn’t just in patient care—it was also in building and running successful naturopathic medical clinics.
In between clinical practice, he immersed himself in the business side of healthcare, launching his own consulting firm to help cash-pay practices grow and thrive. Through years of experience advising doctors on marketing, operations, and patient retention, he gained invaluable insight into what makes a naturopathic clinic successful.
Eventually, Dr. Gonzales and his wife Dr. Felton, who shares his vision for holistic healthcare, decided to build something of their own. Together, they founded Abundance Naturopathic Medicine—a space dedicated to providing exceptional care while embodying the principles of natural medicine and business excellence.

Julie Andrea Balugbog, RMT
Julie is the executive assistant at Abundance Naturopathic Medicine. Her previous experience was as a Medical Technologist. She works behind the scenes to make your experience with our clinic as easy and stress-free as possible.

Outside of work, she spends her time reading books, watching movies, playing with her kids, and discovering new places. She also loves writing poems and stories, as well as exploring museums and historical places. She believes that life is best enjoyed when we do it with love, curiosity, and kindness.

Vanessa Thompson
Patient Relations Coordinator
Vanessa Thompson is the Patient Relations Coordinator at Abundance Naturopathic Medicine, where she serves as the welcoming face of the practice and the voice behind its communications. She plays a vital role in shaping both the in-office and online patient experience—managing social media, overseeing internal and external communications, and supporting check-in and check-out at the front desk.
With a strong background in public relations and a passion for connecting with people, Vanessa ensures that every interaction with Abundance is warm, seamless, and engaging. Originally from Colorado, Vanessa is a graduate of Utah State University with a degree in Public Relations. Her professional interests lie at the intersection of healthcare and PR, where she thrives in creating meaningful connections between patients and providers.
She is dedicated to helping Abundance share its mission, highlight patient success stories, and foster a community centered around compassionate care. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys swimming, reading, and playing the piano. She loves staying active, learning new skills, and finding creative ways to bring joy into her everyday life.
